Franchise Development Managers

We are building a Franchise Development Management team from the ground up!  The new Franchise Development Management team will advance the Sales Strategy of Area 15 Ventures’ DADDY’S CHICKEN SHACK franchises.  With a lofty goal to grow franchise sales over 140% in 18 months throughout our restaurant fast casual network in the United States, our Franchise Development Management Teams will use strong relationship management and influencing skills to sell franchises to great future franchisees.

 

Our Franchise Sales Team will vet prospects, articulate value, advance the brand and ultimately sell Daddy’s Chicken Shack® and other franchise brands in Company-owned markets.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all in-person meetings as necessary throughout the sales and recruitment process and provide acceptable notification to Vice President of Sales

  • Participate with multiple departments within the organization (i.e., legal, operations, training, marketing, finance) to ensure proper onboarding of new franchisee

  • Utilize CRM platform to ensure proper documentation throughout the candidate qualification & onboarding process

  • Provide weekly or requested pipeline reports to senior leadership so there is a clear and concise understanding of deal progression

  • Coordinate and conduct all Discovery Day activities with franchise candidates

  • Represent franchise concept at industry trade shows, seminars, social events, webinars, networking sessions, speaking engagements, etc.

  • Manage the franchise sales process to achieve quarterly and annual quotas for both single unit agreements & regional development agreements

  • Develop leads for franchise owner prospects based on population and demographic instructions

  • Discuss FDD with prospects to fully inform of compliance with brand standards, financial commitments, performance expectations, operating standards, renewals, etc.

  • Participate in milestone events with new franchise owners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or four years of related work experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in franchise sales – restaurant or QSR industry is required

  • Experience with FranConnect CRM or other CRM systems

  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, problem solving and communication skills

  • Successful in building customer relationships and ability to provide premier customer service

  • Ability to handle self-directed work environment

  • Ability to speak in front of groups

  • Working knowledge of standard franchise documents & compliance standards

  • Must strive for excellence and have only the highest integrity in intentions

  • Ability to travel approximately 50% for office visits and conferences.

Hire Range/Rate:

$70,000 + commission

Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location.
