Head of Franchise Sales

The Head of Franchise Sales for Area 15 Ventures will create a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve a lofty goal to grow sales over 140% in 18 months throughout our restaurant fast casual and sub sandwich network in the United States. 

 

The Head of Franchise Sales will hire, train, develop and lead a world class Franchise Sales Team throughout the United States.  He or she will create an overarching sales strategy, set sales targets, assess systems and programs to capture and vet leads and define reward systems for the success of the sales team.  He or she will troubleshoot challenges and create accountability for team members.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop multi-brand strategy for the creation of leads for restaurant franchise owner prospects based on population and demographic instructions according to the growth plans of each restaurant brand

  2. Define and create talking points to articulate the value proposition of restaurant franchise opportunities within Area 15 Ventures regions

  3. Create and deliver exceptional sales training and materials for franchise sales associates and team members

  4. Ensure Franchise Sales Team comply with fundamentals of the FDD and understand all components with respect to compliance with brand standards, financial commitments, performance expectations, operating standards, renewals, etc.

  5. Attend Discovery Day for respective franchisors.   Deliver presentations, answer questions, entertain/host events.

  6. Ensure all franchise sales are of the highest quality and ensure the sale is mutually beneficial to the zee/zor

  7. Create milestone events and awards with new franchise owners

  8. Work closely with Head of Onboarding to ensure programs, systems, policies and relationships ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to the onboarding process

  9. Use technology and data to drive network growth and benchmark progress

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in leading franchise sales; restaurant industry franchise preferred

  • Excellent leadership and managerial qualities

  • Successful in building peer relationships and ability create strong internal culture

  • Excellent presentation skills  

  • Ability to travel approximately 25% for prospects and customer visits and conferences

Salary: $150,000 + Commission

Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location.
